Welcome!
Two
and a half years ago I thought owning my own home was just a dream...a
very unattainable dream. Thanks to my wonderful mother, who suggested I
"just look into it", I have a home to call my own. From hardwood floor
refinishing, to kitchen remodel, it has been one heck of an adventure.
Come on in!
Every
room in my home is still a work in progress. A lot of the house is
still very plain, but as I've lived here, I slowly add things as my tiny budget allows. :) It's so much fun!
The living room
The Kitchen
This
is the biggest project I've done since moving in. It took around three
months to complete and I'm thrilled with the outcome! I tried to do as
much of the work as I could by myself, but when it came to the big
stuff I had to hire a friend to help. My family all pitched in when
they could too.
The Dining Room
The
dining room...as you can see...isn't finished. I can't figure out what
to do for window treatments. Small room. Three windows. Large door.
Hmmmmm??? Ideas anyone?
So far all I've done in this room is paint
